THE BEGINNING

In 1960 John Brann Sr. opened the first John Brann’s Steakhouse in Grand Rapids Michigan in the heart of the West Side, where Michigan’s Original Sizzle got its start! John Sr. wanted to make sure that families could go out to eat and get a great meal at a great price. Grand Rapids ate this concept up! Soon, John Brann’s Steakhouse was selling an average of 800 Sizzling Steak Dinners on Saturday nights!

The Present

Now, Brann’s Steakhouse & Grille boasts 8 locations across Michigan, including our newest location in Bay City. Our concept has evolved but our core values remain the same as they were in 1960.

Our mission is to create happiness, lasting memories, and great meals for our guests of all ages by providing the best food, drinks, and hospitality in an entertaining environment. We do this working hand-in-hand with our dedicated servers, cooks, hosts, and managers.

It is extremely important to us to provide a workplace and dining environment of compassion and justice.
